Emergent Reader Curriculum. Volume 1 Workbook

This is a digital download that will be sent to your email. This workbook contains 29 lessons or 9 weeks of 3 lessons per week and 1 week with 2 lessons for flexibility during weeks with holidays. 

Our Emergent Reader workbook is designed for children ages 4-6 years old who are already familiar with the alphabet and numbers. We start with an alphabet review and move quickly into word study with words being introduced in the order of most commonly used English words from the popular Ayres List. Vowel and word reviews are thrown in every few lessons so that students are continually being introduced to new words as well as reviewing ones already learned. In math we introduce the number line and teach students to use it as a help in solving math problems, eventually progressing beyond the need for help. We include fun math problems and introduce skip counting and encourage students to find patterns in the 100 number chart.
